What is a membership value statement?
Typically, membership value statements are sent to members annually. They contain all the interactions your member has had with you over the course of the year, and the benefit they have derived from those interactions.
For instance, how many referrals the member received, how many times they used a particular membership benefit, how many hours of CPD they carried out, how many magazines they received etc, etc.
The purpose of the statements is therefore to really demonstrate the ‘bang for buck’ they get from their membership as well as highlighting how much more they could get if they used all of the other benefits.
What channels do you use to send these statements?
We can send via the print and digital channels. Our experience has shown that the print channel is getting real cut through with this particular membership communication. It gives the piece the gravitas it deserves.
When do clients typically send these statements?
They are typically sent out annually. Sometime in advance of the renewals communication, sometimes with the renewals communication itself, sometimes both.
