What’s the point of sale?

How we helped two of our clients with their bespoke point of sale requirements.
Client A
Client A is a franchisor, and their franchisees are all mobile, selling vehicle cleaning products from their vans. Our client wanted to re-dress the inside of the vans with new branding and point of sale materials. These included product flashes, aerosol display units, cloth display units, illuminated signs, floor stickers and other chemical display units.
These were produced in a range of materials that were suitable for the product. For instance, the chemical display units had to be resistant to the chemical they were housing and the floor stickers had to be non-slip, wipe clean and chemical resistant. The brand colours had to be maintained across all these substrates.
The materials had to be hard wearing and securely mounted to ensure they stayed in position as the franchisee was driving.
Client B
Client B is a specialist in the manufacture and distribution of cement and bitumen-based products. They had a new range and wanted to produce a display for their distributors to use in their showrooms.
This point of sale piece hand to be compact, light and able to hold product leaflets and display 12 grout samples.
After to producing a number of concept drawings and proposing some material options the client chose to go for a piece manufactured out of Foamex which we heat bended to shape. This enabled the piece to be free standing and, of course, very light. We printed the face in four-colour, routed out 12 slots for the grout samples to be inserted into and attached a branded leaflet holder.
