Synergy, proud supporters of the Buddy Bag Foundation
The Buddy Bag Foundation was created by Karen Williams in response to the rising number of children who enter emergency care after fleeing violent situations at home.
Restoring a sense of safety and security into a child’s life during a traumatic time is one of the first steps to recovery. By providing these children with a few essential items, they can help make the transition into emergency care a little easier.
To support children in this situation they have created the Buddy Bag to provide comfort when all else has been removed.
One of the items included in the Bag is a journal which the children of different age groups can keep as a diary or draw in. Synergy are proud to have sponsored the printing of these journals.
Karen Williams, commented, “We would like to thank Synergy for supporting us by sponsoring our very own Buddy Bag Foundation Journals these are going to make a real difference to children in emergency care by giving them something they can call their own.”
Synergy specialise in supporting the charity sector with their donor, volunteer and supporter retention, engagement and acquisition campaigns. They offer a wide range of services from creative design through to pick, pack and despatch.
Matt Fillingham, Synergy’s Managing Director commented, “When we first found out about the Buddy Bag Foundation we really wanted to help where we could. The Charity is more relevant than ever during this lockdown period. The journals will give the children an outlet to express their feelings through art or by keeping a diary.”
